The purpose of this research is to analyze the moderating role of cognitive flexibility in the relationship between the characteristics of dynamic environments and future wars on the performance of operational commanders in the integrated command and control network of Aja air defense. The research method is a mixed (quantitative and qualitative) exploratory, which is a qualitative study in the first stage (future research-Delphi) and the research model is designed for quantitative investigation in the next stage. In order to examine the dimensions and components of the proposed initial model of the statistical population including 12 academic experts, commanders and managers and to quantitatively examine the proposed model of the statistical population including commanders and managers active in the Air Defense Force and Air Defense Base (234 people) using The Krejci-Morgan sampling table was used. The data collection tool was a questionnaire, and the statistical analysis software SPSS24, Amos26 was used to analyze the data. Based on theoretical foundations and research background, the model with 4 dimensions, 30 components was prepared. The results of the statistical tests indicated a good fit of the model and the findings showed that cognitive flexibility positively moderates the relationship between the characteristics of the dynamic environment and future wars on commanders' performance, and the severity of the effect of cognitive flexibility is 0.79, the characteristics of future wars is 0.612, and dynamic Missions were 0.587 on performance and a total of 0.77% of the variance of commanders' performance was explained in the model.
