A futures-oriented approach to the relationship between Organizational health and Corporate governance, with the mediating role of Organizational ethics

Abstract
Objective: In the current complex and changing environment, organizational health is recognized as a vital component for the sustainability and effectiveness of organizations. The present study aims to design and articulate a forward-looking model of organizational health based on corporate governance, with organizational ethics serving as a mediating role.
Methodology: This study is applied in purpose and descriptive-survey in methodology.The statistical population consisted of 274 experts from Bank Sepah in Tehran Province. Data were collected using a combination of standard and researcher-made questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software, employing confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM).
Findings: The research findings indicated that corporate governance has a significant and positive impact on organizational health. Moreover, organizational ethics plays an effective mediating role in this relationship. The final model demonstrated a good fit, and statistical indicators supported the validity of the hypothesized relationships.
Conclusion: The results suggest that adopting a forward-looking approach to corporate governance, combined with the reinforcement of organizational ethics, can lead to improvements and enhancements in organizational health within banks and financial institutions. In other words, corporate governance—by providing a transparent and accountable structure—can play a crucial role in strengthening organizational health. Meanwhile, organizational ethics, as a mediating mechanism, can clarify and enhance the relationship between corporate governance and organizational health.
