Plagiarism Policy

The close adaptation of the thoughts and expressions of other authors—whether by copying ideas, mirroring structural elements in the text, or failing to attribute sources properly—is classified as "plagiarism." This journal firmly upholds the policy of "The Fight Against Plagiarism." To maintain academic integrity, we utilize Hamanandjoo for thorough similarity checks, ensuring that all contributions are original and properly credited.

“Plagiarism” simply means:

It is unethical to utilize another person's work without proper attribution or to present their established idea as if it were your own.

All the following are considered plagiarism:

  1. Presenting someone else’s work as your own.
  2. Failing to credit the original source when using their words or ideas.
  3. Misrepresenting the origin of information.
  4. Altering the wording but maintaining the original sentence structure without attribution.
  5. Using a substantial portion of another's words or ideas to the extent that it constitutes the majority of your work, regardless of whether credit is given.
  6. Incorporating images, figures, and graphs into your work can greatly enhance its impact, but doing so without proper permission and citations is considered plagiarism. To maintain integrity and respect for copyright, authors need to obtain written permission from the rights holders before using any visuals. Protect your work and honor the creativity of others by ensuring you have the right to use their materials.

Policy and Action for Plagiarism

The Journals perform a similarity check on each manuscript before the peer-review process and the following steps are taken based on the similarity content:

  1. If a manuscript has low similarity, it presents a valuable opportunity for improvement. The author will receive constructive feedback and can revise the manuscript to enhance its originality. After addressing any issues and reworking the content, the author is encouraged to resubmit. The revised manuscript will then undergo a thorough review to ensure it meets our standards for originality and does not contain any instances of plagiarism.
  2. However, if the similarity content is excessively high, we regret to inform the author that the manuscript will be rejected outright and cannot be considered for further revision or publication. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity and quality of our publications.

In instances where plagiarism is identified post-publication, decisive measures will be enforced. Should the level of plagiarism be found to be substantial, the affected paper will be withdrawn to uphold academic integrity and ensure a commitment to original work

Recommendation for Authors

  1. Always ensure that references are properly cited and that all ideas are appropriately acknowledged.
  2. Each reference must include complete bibliographic details.
  3. Every source cited in the text should be listed in the bibliography, and vice versa.
  4. If you are using more than six consecutive words from a source, quotation marks must be employed.
  5. Additionally, you must obtain permission from authors or publishers to reuse any copyright-protected content.
