Abstract
Objective: Rapid advancements and the accelerated transformations of the future present an uncertain environment filled with opportunities and threats for the armed forces. In this highly dynamic and uncertain context, theoretical and practical preparedness to predict the occurrence of future wars based on the evolution of military strategies, tactics, and advanced technology is a national necessity. Accordingly, this article aims to develop probable scenarios for the smartification of the logistics and support system of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army (NEZAJA) by 1410.
Methodology: This study is applied in its purpose and descriptive-exploratory in its nature and methodology. It employs scenario-building techniques, specifically "trend impact analysis" and "cross-impact analysis," with a quantitative approach. The expert community of the study includes ten university professors from military institutions, commanders, and managers in strategic roles, organized into two teams for scenario-building and strategic guidance. Data collection and analysis were conducted through scientific and specialized library research and expert interviews.
Findings: The developed scenarios were selected from several options and categorized as follows: "Dynamic Logistics and Support" (optimistic), "Resistance to Change" (pessimistic), "Passive Logistics and Support" (catastrophic), and "Transformational Logistics and Support at the Knowledge Frontier" (miraculous).
Conclusion: The results of the research indicate that the "Resistance to Change" scenario is ranked as the highest priority, followed by the "Dynamic Logistics and Support" scenario in second place, the "Passive Logistics and Support" scenario in third place, and the "Transformational Logistics and Support at the Knowledge Frontier" scenario in fourth place in terms of impact, organizational influence, and NEZAJA's involvement
