Abstract

Purpose: The ever-increasing progress of military technologies, especially future air threats, including unmanned aerial vehicles, has made it inevitable to pay close scientific attention to the category of threat management. The main aspect of the future operational environments is the topics of environmental awareness, future research and forecasting the needs of threat management.
Background and purpose: The purpose of this research is how to manage the threats of small birds in the future operational environment.
Method: This research is of an applied type and the methods of library study and reference to documents and questionnaire tools were used to collect data and targeted sampling was used to select the sample size of the researched statistical population. The AHP method has been used to determine the priority of necessary measures to manage the threats of small birds in peacetime and in times of crisis and war in the future operational environment.
Results: The suggestions of this research are the emphasis and attention of the air defense commanders on recognizing the threats of small birds based on the research results and also the need to change the way of managing threats in the operational environment in the air defense sector in peacetime and in times of crisis and war, with the priority of adopting a strategy Appropriate defenses include preventive and reactive measures and improving the capabilities of detecting various types of micro-bird threats and using new and appropriate technologies in air defense weapon systems.
