Abstract

Different periods of human life have always witnessed different patterns of war, so that wars have been affected by the level of thinking and knowledge and the growth of technology of their time. the increasing development of knowledge has encompassed various aspects of human life, and defense organizations and the military forces, and consequently wars, have been no exception to this rule, as we see in the present age, the establishment of knowledge base in various fields of battles. This research has been conducted with the aim of achieving an indigenous model of knowledge-based defense against future threats with emphasis on the characteristics and binding factors, which is of a practical-case-by-case development type. The relationship between the characteristics of future threats and the underlying and binding factors of defense and knowledge-based defense is assumed to be the hypothesis. The method of data collection is field and library and the method of data analysis is mixed by using statistical software and structural equation modeling is performed using Amos software.According to the research findings, knowledge-based defenses against future threats have a significant interaction with each other. On the one hand, the most important characteristics of future threats that will have the greatest impact on the knowledge-based defense are: Evolution in information collection and sensors, information exchange and processing; knowledge Centeric, accuracy and intelligence; The growing importance of command and control; On the other hand, the most important features of knowledge-based defense that will have the greatest impact on the type of future threats are; People Based and comprehensive defense, emphasis on integrated command and control systems using decision-support and decision-making systems, as well as the effect -oriented defense.
